Awan
Awan
Inhabiting the Space
Between Earth and Sky
Luxury is
clarity.
Awan was conceived as a vertical sanctuary — an architectural dialogue between the heavy limestone of the Bukit Peninsula and the weightless air of the Indian Ocean above.
Designed with a philosophy of radical minimalism and deep respect for Balinese heritage, the estate blurs the boundaries between interior and landscape. Here, the rustle of palm fronds and the distant chime of temple bells form the soundtrack to a life lived intentionally.
The Estate
Each room is a frame for the landscape, designed to heighten the senses.

The Celestial Suite
Floor-to-ceiling glass walls that disappear entirely, dissolving the boundary between sleep and jungle.

The Living Pavilion
An open-air hall with a hand-carved Paras stone wall and a sunken lounge that honours the Balinese art of stillness.
The Infrastructure
Every metric speaks to intention. No excess. No compromise.
The Palette of the Land
Every surface in Awan was chosen by hand. We believe a home should smell like the earth it stands on and age with the people who inhabit it.
Paras Kerobokan
Bali, IndonesiaA pale volcanic limestone quarried from the foothills of Kintamani. Porous, warm to the touch, and alive with time.
Recycled Teak
East JavaReclaimed from 200-year-old Javanese structures. Each beam carries a history that no new timber can replicate.
Hand-Woven Linen
Karangasem, BaliBespoke textiles crafted by third-generation weavers in the remote villages of East Bali. No two pieces are identical.
Hammered Brass
Celuk, BaliHardware and fixtures beaten by hand in the silversmith village of Celuk. Oxidised to a living, breathing patina.
Bukit Peninsula
Perched on the dramatic limestone cliffs of Uluwatu, a world apart. The Indian Ocean crashes against ancient stone below. Uninterrupted horizons stretch beyond the estate walls. This is the Bali that endures.
Curated Living
Four dimensions of life at Awan. Each designed with the same philosophy that shaped the architecture itself—less, but more.
Gastronomy
A private culinary journey conceived by our resident chef—each dish an homage to Bali's volcanic terroir and ancient spice routes.
Wellness
Melukat cleansing rituals, Balinese boreh wraps, and sunrise pranayama overlooking the valley canopy. Restoration as a discipline.
Exploration
Access to sacred water temples, off-trail cliffside treks, and private audiences with Uluwatu's master artisans—far from the common tourist path.
Service
A dedicated butler anticipates before you ask. Invisible, intuitive, omnipresent. The highest form of hospitality.
